For the second consecutive year, Brandon Menchaca, a Coldwell Banker agent, has won the chili cook-off competition at the recent Laguna Board of Realtors 21st annual Pet Parade and Chili Cook-Off.
Coldwell manager Ric Hernandez praised Menchaca’s talents as a realtor and a chef. “Brandon proved himself a true master chili chef by winning this year with a new chili recipe,” Hernandez said.
The fundraising event also includes a pet parade and 130 dogs entered the contest. About $21,000 was raised and will benefit five animal related non-profits and the board’s charitable assistance fund, says a Coldwell announcement.
