DIY Network’s “Yard Crashers” star Matt Blashaw is now affiliated with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s Newport Beach office as a team member of The Smith Group, the company announced.
A nine-year host of various HGTV and DIY Network shows, Blashaw was involved in the design and renovation of everything from master bathrooms to backyards. “I can see beyond the walls of the house and show my clients a home’s true potential,” he said.
Born in Long Beach and raised in Fullerton, Blashaw earned a bachelor’s degree from Chapman University and worked two decades in construction. “I’ve been a contractor for almost 20 years now, so I know the condition and the potential vision of your home better than most,” he said. “The first time I handed over the keys to a new homeowner I was hooked. It is the best feeling in the world to guide someone through one of the most important decisions of their life.”
