How the Community Has Evolved: One Ford Road was built by Pacific Bay in three phases, from 1998 to 2000. Since then, many of the original homeowners have stayed in the neighborhood, choosing to either move into a large model or downsize based on their needs. So many people fall in love with the neighborhood, and find it impossible to leave once they are there!
History: Prior to 1958, the area of One Ford Road served as the site for the annual Orange County Boy Scout Jamboree. After that time, it was used as the Ford Aerospace Corporation site. Recently, Beemus Landscaping received the John Redmond Memorial Award from the California Landscape Contractors Association for the best overall entry from among eight different maintenance categories.

It’s the neighbors! It is such a wonderful group of people and it’s a very friendly environment for all – kids, parents, grandparents, singles and pets. The activities in the neighborhood make it easy to meet your neighbors (if you’re inclined). There are poolside concerts, cocktail parties, wine tastings, art shows, BBQs, yoga classes, Mother’s Day Croquet, Father’s Day putting, 4th of July Parade & Parties, Halloween costume contests, Easter Egg Hunts, Teenage Scavenger Hunts, a Christmas Party, Hanukah celebrations, movie nights by the pool, campouts on the lawn, and Mommy & Me events. Many of the homes have front porch areas, making it fun to visit with neighbors. Everyone keeps up their property nicely – there’s a “Disneyland” feel. It’s safe with the friendly gate guards, and it’s so convenient to everything (freeway, shopping, airport, schools, etc.) I enjoy working with great people right in my own neighborhood, and feel very fortunate to live & work in a great environment!
